The TEC Control Unit controls the temperature and shaking performance (frequency, amplitude, pattern) for a range of INHECO heating/cooling units and shakers. The TEC Control Unit is designed specifically for use in Life Science and In Vitro Diagnostics.

Shaker Commands

  • Report Shaker Enable Status

    int reportShakerEnableStatus(int slot)Reads shaker enable status

    Parameters:

    • slotUnit slot number Minimum: 1 Maximum: 6 Default: 1

    Returns:

    Shaker status. 1 – shaker is on, 0 – shaker is off
  • Action Shaker Enable

    void actionShakerEnable(int slot, int selector)Start/Stops the shaking routine

    Parameters:

    • slotUnit slot number Minimum: 1 Maximum: 6 Default: 1
    • selectorSpecifies the action Default: 0
  • Read Shaker Revolution

    int readShakerRevolutions(int slot, int shakePeriod)Reads the specific shaker frequency

    Parameters:

    • slotUnit slot number Minimum: 1 Maximum: 6 Default: 1
    • shakePeriodSpecific shake period Default: 0

    Returns:

    Shaker frequency (rpm).
  • Set Shaker Revolutions

    void setShakerRevolutions(int slot, int revolutions, int shakePeriod)Sets the shaker frequency.

    Parameters:

    • slotUnit slot number Minimum: 1 Maximum: 6 Default: 1
    • revolutionsShaker frequency (rpm). Minimum: 60 Maximum: 2000 Default: 60
    • shakePeriodSpecific shake period Default: 0
  • Read Shaker Shape

    int readShakerShape(int slot, int shakePeriod)Reads the shape for the movement

    Parameters:

    • slotUnit slot number Minimum: 1 Maximum: 6 Default: 1
    • shakePeriodSpecific shake period Default: 0

    Returns:

    Shape of the movement. 0-circle anticlockwise; 1-circle clockwise; 2-upleft downright; 3-upright downleft; 4-up down; 5-left right.
  • Set Shaker Shape

    void setShakerShape(int slot, int figure, int shakePeriod)Sets the shaking figure shape.

    Parameters:

    • slotUnit slot number Minimum: 1 Maximum: 6 Default: 1
    • figureSpecific shaking figure Default: 0
    • shakePeriodSpecific shake period Default: 0
  • Read Shaker Times

    int readShakerTimes(int slot, int shakePeriod)Reads the periodic shaking times

    Parameters:

    • slotUnit slot number Minimum: 1 Maximum: 6 Default: 1
    • shakePeriodSpecific shake period Default: 1

    Returns:

    Period duration (1/10 s).
  • Set Shaker Times

    void setShakerTimes(int slot, int shakePeriod, int time)Sets periodic shaking times.

    Parameters:

    • slotUnit slot number Minimum: 1 Maximum: 6 Default: 1
    • shakePeriodSpecific shake period Default: 1
    • timeTime of period specified by shake period (1/10 s), 0 means endless. Minimum: 0 Maximum: 10000000 Default: 100

  • Report Actual Device Temperature

    Parameters:

    Temperature in 1/10 C
  • Report Target Temperature

    int reportTargetTemperature(int slot)Reports the target temperature of the device

    Parameters:

    Returns:

    Temperature in 1/10 C
  • Set Target Temperature

    void setTargetTemperature(int slot, int temperature)Sets the temperature for each device.

    Parameters:

    • slotUnit slot number Minimum: 1 Maximum: 6 Default: 1

  • Report Maximum Allowed Device Temperature

    int reportMaximumAllowedDeviceTemperature(int slot, int Selector)Reads maximum allowed temperature of the device

    Parameters:

    • slotUnit slot number Minimum: 1 Maximum: 6 Default: 1
    • SelectorSpecifies if the max allowed temperature has to be remeasured Default: 0

    Temperature in 1/10 C
  • Set Maximum Allowed Device Temperature

    void setMaximumAllowedDeviceTemperature(int slot, string key, int selector, int temperature)Sets maximum allowed device temperature controlled by the slot module.

    Parameters:

    • slotUnit slot number Minimum: 1 Maximum: 6 Default: 1
    • keySecret key (xxxxxx)
    • selectorSpecifies the action Default: 0
    • temperatureMaximum allowed slot temperature in 1/10 C. (only if selector = 1) Minimum: 0 Maximum: 1999 Default: 400
  • Reports Lowest Allowed Device Temperature

    int reportLowestAllowedDeviceTemperature(int slot)Reports lowest allowed temperature of the device

    Parameters:

    • slotUnit slot number Minimum: 1 Maximum: 6 Default: 1

    Returns:

    Temperature in 1/10 C
  • Set Lowest Allowed Device Temperature

    void setLowestAllowedDeviceTemperature(int slot, string key, int temperature)Sets the lowest allowed device temperature controlled by the slot module.

    Parameters:

    • slotUnit slot number Minimum: 1 Maximum: 6 Default: 1
    • keySecret key (xxxxxx)
    • temperatureLowest allowed device temperature in 1/10 C. Minimum: -127 Maximum: 127 Default: 0
  • Action Temperature Enable

    void actionTemperatureEnable(int slot, int selector)Start/Stops heating or cooling.

    Parameters:

    • slotUnit slot number Minimum: 1 Maximum: 6 Default: 1
    • selectorOn – starts the heating/cooling routine. Off – stops the routine. Default: 1
